THIS TRUCK HAS THE FACTORY 454 ENGINE, REAR OVERLOAD SPRINGS, AIR CONDITIONING (NOT HOOKED UP), POWER WINDOWS AND POWER LOCKS. THIS ALSO HAS A TURBO 400 TRANNY AND AN EDELBROCK CARB.
IN THE PAST YEAR, I HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS;
ALL NEW REAR END - BUILT WITH POSI-TRACTION & 373 GEARS.(INCLUDING NEW AXLE SEALS, BEARINGS, BRAKES, U-BOLTS, E-BRAKE CABLES).
NEW AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP INSIDE THE TANK.
NEW OLD STOCK POWER WINDOW AND LOCK SWITCHES.
NEW BATTERY. NEW AFTERMARKET BATTERY TRAY.
NEW BLOWER MOTOR AND RESISTOR.
NEW SIDE DUMP DUAL EXHAUST WITH GLASS PACK MUFFLERS.
HOOD BRACING (TO REDUCE THE HOOD KINKING)
ALSO, DID THE FOLLOWING UPDATES AND MAINTENANCE;
SPARK PLUGS AND SPARK PLUG WIRES,
DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR,
K&N AIR FILTER,
ADDED AN IN-LINE FUEL FILTER BEFORE THE CARB,
NEW SHOCKS ALL THE WAY AROUND,
NEW AFTERMARKET BRUSHED ALUMINUM GAUGE CLUSTER BEZEL AND MATCHING PASSENGER TRIM MOULDING,
NEW OLD STOCK 8-TRACK IN-DASH TAPE DECK (THAT DOES NOT DAMAGE THE DASH BEZEL)
"PERFORMANCE" BRAND BACK-LIT UNDERDASH TACHOMETER,
NEW BED BOLTS,
NEW OLD STOCK HEADLIGHTS,
ADDED A NEW CHOKE CABLE W/BRUSHED ALUMINUM KNOB,
AFTERMARKET PADDED ASHTRAY MOUNTED CUP HOLDER.
OF COURSE, I ALSO CHANGED FLUIDS (OIL, COOLANT, POWER STEERING AND REAR END).
RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD, COULD USE NEW TIRES.
THE BODYWORK/PAINTJOB WAS DONE MANY YEARS AGO AND
IS NOW STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE.
HAS SOME RUST BEHIND THE REAR WHEELS. INNER FENDERS ARE RUSTY.
ALTHOUGH THE CAB HAD NEW CORNERS AND ROCKERS INSTALLED, THE CAB FLOOR NOW NEEDS WORK. (I HAVE A COUPLE CHUNKS OF WOOD UNDER THERE TO KEEP IT FROM SAGGING)
SPEEDOMETER IS NOT WORKING. WINDSHIELD HAS A CRACK.
LOOKS GOOD FROM 20 FT,
DRIVE AS IS OR RESTORE IT.
